Gary Wood is originally from the Granite City Illinois area. He came to faith in Christ at the age of nine years. At the age of eighteen he became Youth Director of his church and led many young people to faith in Messiah Yeshua, many of whom are ministers today.
Gary began his ministry as an evangelist. At that time he was greatly influenced by the book “The Late Great Planet Earth” by Hal Lindsey. Very early in his ministry he began teaching and preaching about the End of Days, a message that turned many hearts to faith in Christ.

Over the years he pastured three churches in Missouri. He is currently founder and president of Sixth Day Ministries. He has taught and preached in the United States, Israel, Scotland, South America and the Caribbean.
Gary has been married to his wife and best friend Linda for nearly 40 years. They have two sons, Gary Wood II, and Jason Wood.

Besides serving as an Elder at River City Christian Fellowship, he is a small business owner and entrepreneur. Gary has also published the first of several books he is writing titled, “The Sixth Day Rapture, The Shabua Principle” which can be ordered from this website or from www.sixthdayrapture.com
